“I Can Run Faster”

"I Feel Better In Myself"
My first introduction to Chiropractic was at the Women's Lifestyle Expo in 2007. With just a few touches of their fingers they were able to detect things amiss so I decided to get them fixed.
The biggest change I have experienced since beginning Chiropractic care is my back feels stronger, I have more energy than before and I have noticed I can sleep on my back without it being sore in the morning. I have learnt how to look after my back better and I feel better in myself.
I find the staff really friendly and I enjoy my sessions as it is my way of totally relaxing.

"Full Of Energy"
I first started Chiropractic care because I was suffering from headaches, sore shoulder and a very sore left hip. I also felt I was not balanced – one leg longer than the other (I had been like this for a long time thinking it would just come right and it didn’t). With on-going Chiropractic adjustments I can sleep at night and have very little pain but the biggest change is the energy I have! For 37 years I have not been a morning person taking a long time to function properly but since my treatment I bounce out of bed, alert and full of energy. I couldn’t find enough hours in my day to get everything done. Now I fit everything in and have time for me. I am balanced. This has prompted me to change my lifestyle for the better health wise.
Funnell Family Chiropractic is a great and supportive environment. If I had known what a difference in my life the treatment and care would make I would have done this a long time ago!

“More Flexible”
I started Chiropractic care due to lack of mobility and back pain. I could barely walk and the pain affected my sleep. Eventually, I had to resort to anti-inflammatory drugs (Ibuprofen) which caused digestion problems. My progress at Funnell Family Chiropractic is that I am more flexible, I have less pain, I can walk and sleep better and I’m beginning to find more mental tranquillity. “Straight Away I Felt The Benefit”
I fell over and sat on my tail bone. I went to the doctor who gave me pills that did not relieve the pain and over time I learnt to live with it. All night in bed it seemed I would turn 100 times but I could never get comfortable. I was always up very early rather than a lie in. At Funnell Family Chiropractic I have received very gently treatment and straight away I felt the benefit. Now after 6 weeks I have very little pain and can lie in bed with no trouble – this is wonderful. It has also fixed a very painful arm which I was told a pulled muscle – all in all lots of unnecessary pain. The minute you walk in the door you are greeted with a lovely smile and called by your name, you feel very much at ease.

“More Focused and Purposeful”
Although a troublesome left knee kept me from walking any distance, I was able to perform most farm labour but with the onset of lower back pain. I was almost totally incapacitated. For the first 2 months, I discovered more painful areas than I started with, but having been forewarned I realised progress was being made and was encouraged to continue treatment and now after 5½ months I am back to doing physically demanding work without a trace of pain. This is what is remarkable! Not only has my initial problem been resolved but in general my physical health and wellbeing has improved. I feel mentally stimulated, more focused and purposeful. “I Can Sleep Easily”
I was recommended Chiropractic by my GP following nerve and joint discomfort which I had for more than 12 months. It was very painful. "My Body Is Free Of Pain"
I started at the Chiropractors because I had a sore, aching lower back, intermittently for the last 25-30 years. I felt irritable and out of sorts and couldn't do the things I wanted to do like gardening (farming). I also had tightness in the neck when stressed. This led to Meniere's disease a highly unpleasant debilitating disease.
Since receiving NSA adjustments, my body is free of pain, not only in the back and neck but also other aches I was not aware of till starting my adjustments. It has also lessened anxiety, worrying, tendency to catastrophise, an increase in body sensations (from nil in some areas), and confidence, improve body image.
The changes Phillippa and I have brought about seem incredible. Her whole person and manner are highly conducive to trust, security and confidence. The ambiance of the clinic is fresh, restful and professional. I am a very happy client!
